

My failed attempt at bubbles...LOL
These didn't work nearly as well as I would have liked. I discovered painting bubbles was hard. There are too many aspects on them. I think I would have done better if the bubbles were smaller, but of course I wanted to do the big ones. Will need to keep practicing.


Downtown at Night
I wanted to paint something a little different. This was done without a reference photo..just my imagination and knowledge of perspective. The Jewelry store looks to be around the corner a little, but overall I liked the way it turned out. It was fun playing around with the paints. Blending of Primary Colors
Here is the shed again. This time I only used three colors by Winsor and Newton: Cadmium Yellow Hue, Alizarim Crimsom Hue and Ultramarine. I was amazed at how I could come so close to the colors in the other painting... I still need to work on details, but it was great fun blending.


Red Shed in the Rain
Here is the shed I promised. After much fussing around I sort of like it... I am going to redo the painting with a little different technique...then will post that.
Painting Exploration...
I have been watercolor painting for about a year now. I have improved, but continue to discover more ways to improve. I just finished painting of a shed (which I will post later). Again this painting is overdone. It looked good, then I discovered I didn't mask the fence to stay white, so I masked it a this time.
