Two Sisters
A coworker wanted me to paint a picture of 2 cows with horns somewhat looking at each other. She wanted a cow cloud to represent her sister in heaven. Here is the painting prior to removing the tape around the border. I will be giving it to her today. She looked at it last week and made a couple of suggestions.

Hisbiscus
I painted a hibiscus last year, which looks fairly nice, but I felt it was overworked. This year I did another one trying not to overwork the painting. This is still a challenge for me.

A House in Lancaster
I am from Lancaster, WI and there are many old houses there. Dennis Wilson has been posting some wonderful picutres on "You Know You are from Lancaster if". I have painted a couple of his photos (with his permission). This house I added bushes because I did not get the angle right on the front of the house... so they cover up my boo-boo... I think I will do a couple more houses...Thank you Dennis!

Penelope
Here is Penelope. She was born in the hand's of my son's friend Tylor. Tylor named the calf Penelope and has watched her grow up.

I painted a cow!
A friend told me if I painted a cow she may buy the painting. Of course this inspired me to try and paint a cow.... so I found a cow picture on Paint My Photo: http://paintmyphoto.ning.com/photo/img-9690-1024x683http://paintmyphoto.ning.com/photo/img-9690-1024x683 I drew ot the picture, masked over the cows and started painting the background. After that was finished I painted the front cow. This was challenging. I know I needed to add depth to the black, so painted layer

Rooster
I decided to try painting a rooster. Hope you like it.

Chicken Dinner
Are you hungry? Here is a chicken dinner with baked potato, cole slaw and bun. One of my nursing home resident's wanted me to paint a chicken leg, but I wanted more than that. Hope you like it!

Blueberry Muffins
One of my nursing home residents said I should paint food (chicken leg,,,that is coming)... to start with I found a picture on Paint My Photo of blueberry muffins, so I painted them. I thought they look good enough to eat. http://paintmyphoto.ning.com/photo/blueberry-muffins
